Here is my collection of images from my April/May trip to the beautiful country of Costa Rica. Traveling with 14 other photographers and birders, I traveled in the central mountains enjoying the beautiful rain and cloud forests. The photography was technically challenging. The wildlife was incredible, and yes, the bugs were big. What an amazing variety of flora and fauna. The amount of water falling from the sky was completely mind-boggling to me; as I have spent much of my life in arid climates, that much water is an amazing concept.

The people I traveled with were phenemonal, including our Costa Rican guide William and driver Jorge. The places we visited and stayed were beautiful and interesting - Vulcan Poas, Bosque de Paz Reserva Biologica, Volcán Arenal, and Santa Elena/Monteverde.
