Cowboy Up! - Jul 2012
What a wonderful treat - I got to photograph at a small town rodeo last night. True confessions here - I do love rodeos. For a city girl, I kind of forgot how amazing the athletes are at these events, both the people and the animals! I had great access - spent much time in the chutes area; great access to the cowboys and critters one and all!
I rarely do any action photography - what a challenge! And I was often torn between taking images and just enjoying the spectacle.
