Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge
Formerly a munitions manufacturing facility, filled with deadly chemicals and noxious gases. During the 1990's, a Federal Superfund site. Today - home of thriving wildlife, juxtaposed against the cityscape to the west and the prairie to the east. I still wouldn't drink the water, but the views are truly fine!
This gallery is a work in progress - I have visited the Refuge several times in the last few weeks and am still processing images. Plus, 2 more scheduled visits this spring.
