Left the house at just after 2 am in search of the Milky Way. Success!!! We learned much, laughed lots, and we all have some fabulous images. Taken at Deadhorse Point State Park; balmiest night I've ever spent in the desert - shirtsleeves until the sun came up and brought the breezes.

I so loved the Milky Way shoot at Deadhorse Point State Park, it had to be repeated. Only we got to sleep in - didn't leave the house until 3:30. Yes, that's a.m. This image is taken during astronomical dawn (~ 1.5 hours before sunrise). Amazing indeed.
