Images shot digitally, converted to black and white via a combination of any of the following methods: Lightroom, Photoshop, Nik Silver Efex. Good fun, good practice for seeing the world through a different set of lenses.
I don't normally think of Chulhuly's work in black and white - his glass and use of color is so extraordinary. However, I love the curves and shadows in this image. Denver Botanic Gardens.
Butterfly Pavillion, January 2010
I had to dig in the archives for this - one of my all-time favorites!
May 2013 trip to White Sands in New Mexico. If you haven't seen these magnificent white dunes under the full moon, put it on your bucket list. Amazing.
Chihuly exhibit at the Denver Botanic Gardens.
This is one of my favorite sculptures in the exhibit, and yet very challenging to create an image that is unique. I have shot this sculpture over the summer, and of all the images, the B&W treatment is my favorite. Enjoy!
