My Brother's Keeper
I was out last night exploring the South Broadway neighborhood in Denver - a very interesting area filled with mostly bars and small restaurants and an active alternative night life. The lights, the buildings, the signs are always a fascination. As of course are the people!
This man approached me and asked to have his picture taken. Homeless, dirty, cold, hungry . . . and this is a beautiful portrait. A reminder for me that even though destitute, he still smiled and connected. He IS someone's son, father, brother, cousin, uncle . . . This is my favorite image of the night.
